Announcing Our Series B

We are excited to share that we have closed a $34 million Series B financing to accelerate production and bring the L1 to your driveways.

This round was co-led by Obvious Ventures and Prelude Ventures and joined by Allegis Capital and global RV manufacturer THOR Industries and its investment partner TechNexus Venture Collaborative. Returning investors Congruent Ventures, HyperGuap, and Alumni Ventures also joined the round.

Closing this fundraise ushers in a new chapter as we build the manufacturing system and supply chain to bring the L1 to production later this year. As great things often come in twos, we are also moving into our new pilot production facility in Broomfield, Colorado later this week.

Since launch, our growing team has been hard at work designing, refining, prototyping, and testing the Lightship L1 to make it not only the most aerodynamic, efficient electric travel trailer but also to make seamless, near-zero range or mile-per-gallon efficiency loss road trips a reality. We have been humbled by your enthusiasm since our launch of the L1 back in March 2023. Building an all-electric RV from the ground up and a brand-new U.S.-based manufacturing company around that product has taken the hard work and dedication of an incredible team with outstanding support from our investors -- and none of that would be possible without the response we've seen from customers eager to see the L1 delivered.

We are extremely proud of what we've made at Lightship. We have a bold vision for the future of recreational travel. And this is only the beginning. Onwards!
